Last month I completed my 882-mile ride to Alpine 30+ miles east of San Diego. It was awesome riding. I learned that none of the bicycle shops I stopped at would help you (very sad situation for e-cycles/tricycles). My next cycling (tricycle) adventure is to ride across the USA and back. I plan to depart this coming Spring. The ride should take about 4 months, give or take.
