Member Forum

The Club is designated as a 501(C)(4) non-profit organization by the IRS. As such, the Club is prohibited from actively engaging in any kind of political advocacy. That, of course, does not apply to individual members acting on their own. The Forum may be used to post newsworthy items for members’ information on cycling related initiatives, regulations or public policy, but do not use the Forum as the place for exchanging comments, opinions or positions among members. If you post items of this type and are looking for support or feedback from interested PWCC members, please include your own contact information to separately carry on that conversation with those members.

The PWCC Member Forum has been created as a place to engage with and share information of interest to our members in place of using the “Rides” email listserv.

Please use the Forum for any of the following announcements (again, remember to include your own contact information if you want any follow-up):

    • Sale or give away of bikes, cycling equipment or clothing;
    • Activities or events not otherwise sponsored by PWCC or announced on the PWCC website (training sessions, century rides, volunteer opportunities, community service, etc.);
    • Links to articles, video, websites, etc. on new bike technology, maintenance, equipment, training, nutrition or related information;
    • News or information from other Bay Area cycling clubs or organizations (e.g., Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition, NorCal High School Cycling League, etc.).
