Hey Guys, It's Jeff from Mikes Bikes here in Petaluma. I really need a little help drumming up support for a local bike project I have going. For the last two years my daughter and I have been riding our bikes to school and when we arrive, there is no place to park and lock up the bikes. I have been working with the Parent Teacher Association, the principal and the city to get the funds together so we can install 2 bike racks on campus and possibly start working on a bike path that goes from the school to La Tercera Park as well. Now comes the good part... I am getting sponsors to pledge money for every lap I can do in the Boggs 8 hour mountain bike race on April 2nd. If any of you are willing to sponsor me per lap, I'll accept any donation I can get. People can get ahold of me at latercerabikerack@hotmail.com, call me at Mikes Bike of Petaluma (776-0606) or just come in to the shop. Please help by either sponsoring me per lap, giving a flat donation, or forwarding this email to a few folks.
