What PWCC Membership Offers

MEMBERSHIP CARD

A PWCC membership card may be required to get discounts at local shops or for other purposes. The card is electronic and is visible through the Club’s “Wild Apricot” membership app (available for free on your favorite app store).

MEMBERS-ONLY RIDES AND EVENTS

Learn about regularly-scheduled rides here, or subscribe to the Ride Notification Email List for the latest information. In addition, there are “show and go” rides on most Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings starting at 9:00 (B/C pace) or 9:30 (A pace) AM. All rides start at the corner of “B” and Second Streets in downtown Petaluma at the River Front Cafe.

Note: Non-members may participate in one (1) club ride as a guest (you must bring a signed Waiver). After that, we ask that you become a member.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS

Membership also includes invitations to general membership meetings throughout the year that feature free food and drinks, a speaker on a cycling related topic and an opportunity to see your friends in something other than spandex and sunglasses. You’d be amazed!

SOCIAL GATHERINGS

PWCC also holds annual summer picnic and holiday parties. More free food and drink!

Ride with GPS PREMIUM ACCOUNT

PWCC has a Ride with GPS "club account", which gives us a central place to store, browse and access the club's Ride with GPS routes. It also gives us access to the premium "paid" Ride with GPS features, such as Advanced Turn Notifications.

The Route Library is managed to maintain clearly named, non-duplicate, checked and error-free routes, which can be used by anyone for future club and individual rides.

RIDE FORUM AND MEMBER DIRECTORY

Use the Ride Forum to learn about rides that others are organizing, or to post what kind of ride you're interested in: start time, pace, distance, route, etc. (don’t forget to visit our Ride with GPS Route Library!).

Even if our regularly posted calendar rides don't fit your schedule or your riding level, we have the tools here for you to find your own like-minded group.

BIKE TRAVEL CASE

The Club has one hard-sided Serfas bike travel case available on a first-come-first-served basis, free to any member who needs it. The dimensions of the case are 47" long x 30" wide x 10" deep. Contact Mike Moore to reserve the case.

DISCOUNTS WITH CLUB SPONSORS AND LOCAL BUSINESSES

We currently have a 15% club discount with Mike’s Bikes. More to come.

COMMUNITY SERVICE AND OUTREACH

PWCC participates in a variety of volunteer efforts including: roadside clean-ups along some of our most traveled County roads, free bike repair for residents and clients at the Mary Isaac Center, Petaluma’s homeless shelter, and a bike valet service at a local charity century ride. In addition, our members—who are also often members of the Santa Rosa Cycling Club—support SRCC rides and events. PWCC also contributes financially to various local bike related organizations and services, and our members regularly engage in local bicycle transportation related issues and forums.
