Bike Petaluma will be hosting monthly community bike rides in and around Petaluma on the 2nd Saturdays at 9:30AM starting in September 2018. Our vision for these rides is to bring together bicyclists of all ages and abilities to enjoy and learn how to safely ride around the streets of Petaluma. Our rides are inclusive, kid friendly, and include breaks for water and snacks. They are led by experienced riders who are familiar with the routes. We will stay together and ride as a group with the help of designated front/end riders. In the case of heavy rain, the ride will be canceled.
RIDE INFO 2nd Saturdays at 9:30AM Rides are around 5-10 miles, and typically include a stop at a park for kids to run around.
Who? Everybody!!! No rider is left behind. All ages and abilities. Kids and trailers are welcome!

First Friday Facebook Event
The Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition has asked PWCC to provide 7-10 volunteers to help with this event. Volunteers will act like guides, showing riders the route and serving in a loose sense, as marshalls. The Ciclovia will draw a full range of riders, so the intention is for experienced riders to offer some general assistance to new or infrequent riders. It will be an opportunity to explain a few basic rules of the road such as, passing on the left, and how to slow or stop when in a group.
PWCC has been given a booth space in exchange for our help, so we will also need volunteers to be in the booth answering questions about our club.
Ciclovia is not a parade, organized ride, street fair or market – everyone who comes will be creating this participatory event together! Walk, bicycle, skateboard, scoot, or roller skate downtown and experience Petaluma Boulevard without cars! Transverse town via the Lynch Creek Trail and check out the new bicycle infrastructure on Petaluma Boulevard South.
Post to the Ride Forum to form a group of PWCC members to ride together for this event.
