Group Rides During COVID
On June 18, 2020, the Sonoma County health office issued order C19-15: "Stay Well Sonoma County." The Order imposes specific requirements and restrictions that must be followed for an “Outdoor Recreation Activity Business” (such as PWCC) to occur.
In compliance with the Order, PWCC created a "COVID-19 Compliance Plan for Group Rides" that summarizes the rules and procedures for attending group rides, which will be limited to a maximum of 12 individuals (not including the leader) at this time. Please follow the rules in this plan closely and remember that no "gathering" with individuals not within your own household is allowed during rides.
All members must pre-register for events (by midnight the night before the ride). In the registration process, the rider will acknowledge a COVID-19 Liability Release and agree to comply with the PWCC COVID-19 Compliance Plan. More details can be found within the plan.
Note that all ride leaders will need to attend a training session before they can lead rides. A link to available training session signups will be provided on the PWCC home page.
